Field of use

• The drug is a drug from the group of laxatives used to treat constipation in adults, adolescents and elderly patients. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.
• The medicine helps you to have a comfortable bowel movement even if you have been constipated for a long time.

Contraindications

• Do not take the medicine if your doctor has told you that you have any of the following symptoms:
  • Narrowing or obstruction of the bowel
  • Danger of an intestinal breakthrough (perforation)
  • severe inflammatory bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease or toxic megacolon
  • Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of the drug.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • A dose of the drug is equal to 1 sachet.
  • Depending on the severity of your constipation, take 1 sachet 1-3 times a day.

• Duration of use:
  • Treatment with the drug usually lasts about 2 weeks. If you need to take the medicine for a long time, please talk to your doctor.
  • If your constipation is caused by an illness such as Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis (MS), or if you are taking medicines that cause constipation, your doctor may recommend that you take the medicine for longer than 2 weeks.
  • For long-term treatment, this dose can usually be reduced to 1 or 2 sachets per day.

• If you take more of the medicine than you should
  • You may get diarrhea. Stop taking the medicine until the diarrhea goes away and start again at a lower dose.

• If you forget to take the medicine
  • Take the dose as soon as you remember.

• If you stop using the medicine
  • Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have stopped using the medicine.
