Contradictions

This medicine must not be used- with known hypersensitivity to chondroitin polysulfate from beef tracheae and salicylic acid- on open injuries, inflammation or infections of the skin as well as eczema or on the breastfeeding breast.

dosage

Always apply this medicine exactly after instruction in this package insert. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: the following information applies if your doctor has not prescribed this medicine. Please adhere to the application regulations, otherwise it cannot work properly! The medicine is used 2-3 times a day. Depending on the size of the painful area to be treated, a 5-15 cm long gel strand is required approx. 2 g to 6 g gel (approx. 4 mg to 12 mg chondroitin polysulfate and approx. 40 mg to 120 mg salicylic acid). The maximum total daily dose is 18 g gel, corresponding to 36 mg chondroitin polysulfate and 360 mg salicylic acid. As a rule, an application for over 11 days is sufficient. The therapeutic benefit of an application beyond this period is not documented. Please speak to your doctor if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Taking

Only for external use! Do not take! The medicine is applied thinly to the affected parts of the body and slightly rubbed. Before creating an association, it should dry up on the skin for a few minutes. The application of an occlusal association is advised.

Patient information

Particular caution in the application is necessary to patients with pre-damaged kidney children and adolescents, since there is no sufficient experience for this age group.
