What does xylitol in Xylimed do:

Xylitol is not absorbed through the nasal mucosa
This allows the xylitol to remain in the nasal mucosa and provide lasting relief.
The nasal mucosa dries out less quickly.
With conventional sea salt sprays, the nose is usually dry again after about 30 minutes because the salt is absorbed into the tissue.
Xylitol reduces the number of bacteria and improves the natural, protective cleansing function of the nose.
A study by the Allergy and Asthma Clinic in Georgetown showed a 36% improvement in airflow after only 3 weeks of use of Xylimed.

XYLIMED KID'Nasal Drops were developed with experts specifically for the needs of babies from 3 months and toddlers up to 6 years of age. They gently and safely moisturize, soothe, and cleanse the nasal mucosa of impurities and irritants.

The result: Safe and gentle nasal drops with a fast effect.

Recommended use for babies and toddlers (3 months - 3 years):
Turn the bottle upside down and place one drop into each nostril with the child lying on their back up to 5 times a day. For children up to 3 years of age, use should not exceed 10 days.

Use for toddlers (3 years – 6 years):
Press the bottle 1-2 times as needed until a steady spray is produced. Repeat application up to 5 times daily. The nasal drops can be used indefinitely, as the nasal mucosa does not become accustomed to them.

Warning: Use of the drops by more than one child may spread infection. We also recommend cleaning and resealing the nozzle after each use. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use for more than 3 months after opening.
