Field of use

In Germany, almost every second man suffers from hereditary hair loss, the so -called androgenetic alopecia. Hair loss can increase with advancing age. The earlier treatment begins, the greater the chance of success.
Minoxicutan contains the active ingredient minoxidil, the effectiveness of which has been scientifically proven against hereditary hair loss. The hair loss can be stopped with minoxicutan and the hair can grow thicker and thicker.

Mode of action

Minoxicutan men 50 mg/ml spray (pack size: 3x60 ml) stabilizes the course of the androgenetic alopecia (characteristic asset -related diffuse scalp dilution in the parietal area) and promotes hair growth and can thus counteract the progress of this alopecia.
Minoxicutan men 50 mg/ml spray (pack size: 3x60 ml) expands the blood vessels and thus promotes the blood and nutrient supply of the hair root and hair.
Thanks to the better supply of nutrients, the growth phase of the hair can be normalized again. On this basis, the hair is strengthened (hair density) and new hair growth.
So thin hair becomes denser and thicker again.
The hair loss does not progress further.

1 ml solution contains 50 mg minoxidil
The other components are: ethanol 96 % (v/v), propylene glycol, cleaned water

Contradictions

dosage

Application recommendation of Minoxicutan men 50 mg/ml spray (pack size: 3x60 ml):

Apply 1 ml (6 sprays) of the solution to the affected areas of the scalp twice a day.
A continuous continuation of the treatment is recommended in order to maintain an optimal effect.
If the desired treatment success does not occur within 8 months, the therapy should be set.

  • The solution is sprayed directly on the scalp in the area of hair loss. After each pumping process, spread the liquid with your fingertips on the affected area. Avoid inhaling spray vapors.
• What else do you have to pay attention to when using?
  • The medicine must be applied to the dry tonsurage area of the scalp.
  • It should not be used on other parts of the body.
  • After the drug has been applied, the hands must be washed carefully to avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes and eyes.
  • After applying the drug you can style your hair as usual. However, you should not moisten the scalp for about 4 hours. This is how you avoid the solution is washed off.

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this preparation.
  • Only apply the medicine on the normal healthy scalp. You should not use the preparation if the cause of the hair loss is not known or if the scalp is red or inflamed or hurts.
  • There are no clinical experiences for effectiveness for hair loss in the temporal area (receding rat).
  • If effects occur on internal organs (systemic effects) or severe skin reactions, the preparation must be discontinued.
  • You should not use the medicine,
    • if you have signs of cardiovascular disease or cardiac arrhythmias
    • if you suffer from high blood pressure
    • if you use means to treat high blood pressure (antihypertonic).
  • You should take the medicine and see a doctor,
    • if a humiliation of blood pressure is determined, or
    • if one or more of the following phenomena occurs: chest pain, accelerated heartbeat, weakness or dizziness, sudden and inexplicable weight gain, swollen hands or feet, persistent redness or irritation of the scalp.
    • Occasionally, patients with very light hair were reported on the use of hair care products or after swimming in highly chlorine -containing water about low changes in the hair color.
    • The medicine contains alcohol and can cause eye burning and irritation. If you contact sensitive areas (eyes, skin abrasions, mucous membranes), you have to rinse these areas with plenty of water.
    • Avoid breathing the spray vapors.
    • The accidental intake can cause serious side effects in the cardiovascular system. Therefore, you have to keep this medicine outside the range of children.
• Children and adolescents
  • Do not use this drug in children or adolescents under the age of 18 because security and effectiveness in this age group have not been proven.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • An impairment is unlikely.

Pregnancy

• The medicine is only indicated for use in male patients and must not be used by pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
