Field of use

Milax 1.0 (package size: 10 pc) is used to solve blocks in order to bring about the intestinal examinations (rectoscopy, examination of the rectum) or to soften the stool for hemorrhoids for easier bowel movements.

Contradictions

Must not be used:- in the case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient glycerol or one of the other components- with intestinal lock (ileus)- in the event of unclear abdominal pain

dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, if necessary, 1-2 times daily 1-2 times a day about 20 to 30 minutes before the intended emptying 1 Milax 1.0 (pack size: 10 pc) suppositories into the intestine. Moist the suppository with a little water immediately before use and then insert it into the anus with the tip.

Taking

• To remove, a suppositories are torn down from the strip after repeated battles of the perforation or separated using scissors. The foil leaves on the point of the suppository are pulled apart with the thumb and index finger of each hand.
• The suppository is best moistened and carefully inserted deep into the anus.
• To improve sliding, it can be heated in the hand or briefly dipped in hot water.

Patient information

Special caution in the application is required: constipation, combined with other symptoms such as abdominal pain, vomiting and fever, can be signs of a serious disease (intestinal obstruction, acute inflammation in the abdominal area). With such symptoms, you should not use the preparation or other medication and immediately search for medical advice:
The application of laxatives should only be made in the event of constipation! In general, treatment
only recommended with the preparation if you could achieve no or no sufficient success with the change in your diet (by increasing the absorption of fiber and sufficient fluid intake) as well as by changing your lifestyle (with sufficient physical exercise)! Children: Since constipation in small and small children needs medical clarification, please ask your doctor in these cases before application. Keep drugs inaccessible to children.
