Ready-to-use disinfectant wipes for cleaning and disinfecting sensitive surfaces and sensitive medical products.

application areas
The preparation is suitable for disinfecting medical devices and other surfaces. Due to the good material compatibility, the preparation is particularly suitable for suitable for alcohol-sensitive surfaces.

For medical inventory within the meaning of the Medical Devices Act (MPG):
• Surfaces of non-submersible medical devices such as stethoscopes or ultrasound heads for abdominal examinations, as well as acrylic glass.

For semi-critical medical devices (e.g. vaginal probes), a final virucidal disinfection must be carried out afterwards.

For areas according to the Biocidal Products Ordinance (BPR):

• Sensitive work surfaces in hospitals, medical and dental practices and ambulances

• small work surfaces in retirement and nursing homes and medical laboratories

Composition:
100 g active ingredient solution contain active ingredients:
0.26 g alkyl (C12-16) dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride (ADBAC/BKC (C12-16)); 0.26g didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC), 0.26g alkyl(C12-14)ethylbenzylammonium chloride (ADEBAC (C12-C14))

Use disinfectants carefully. Always read the label and product information before use.

The suitability of the product with regard to its spectrum of activity must be checked separately. The following applies to surface disinfectants: "Disinfectants differ, e.g. with regard to their range of effects on microorganisms. This must be taken into account in the respective areas when selecting a suitable preparation." Please note that there are known cases with bacterial strains that show reduced sensitivity or the development of tolerance to disinfectants.** Among other things Products based on quaternary ammonium compounds will not be sufficiently effective in these cases. Therefore, schülke recommends for high-risk areas (such as intensive care, Haemato-oncology, neonatology or burns ward) for disinfecting the surfaces, e.g. mikrozid® PAA wipes or mikrozid® AF wipes, which are suitable due to their properties cover a particularly broad spectrum of activity. Not suitable for the final disinfection of semi-critical and critical medical products!
