Mepilex® Heel is a foam association especially for the heel and particularly suitable for the treatment of pressure ulcers. Mepilex Heel minimizes pain and traumatization of the wound or skin when changing the association1. Mepilex Heel is soft and comfortable, is easy to apply and is ideal for the application on the heel.

When is Mepilex HEEL to be used?
Mepilex Heel is an absorbing wound association - suitable for a variety of moderately to strongly exuding wounds. Whether application on the heel or ankle, Mepilex Heel effectively absorbs exudate and sustainably reduces the risk of maceration. Thanks to the Safetac® detention technology, there is a lower risk of trauma of the wound or wound -surrounding skin when removing Mepilex Heel. The Safetac® technology also prevents Mepilex Heel from gluing with the wound bed, but gently adheres to the wound skin and enables simple secondary fixation. If necessary, Mepilex can be fixed with a secondary association, for example.
