The sleep capsules to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep contain 2 mg melatonin per capsule.

Melatonin is a neurohormone and is produced by the organism in the pineal gland in the brain. It controls the human sleep-wake rhythm. During the day, melatonin release from the brain is significantly reduced by exposure to light. When it gets dark, the hormone is released again and promotes sleep.

To achieve the positive effect, take 1 mg of melatonin shortly before going to bed.
