Field of use

• The medicine is a vitamin preparation.
  • Field of use
    • Proven, combined lack of vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid, which cannot be remedied in terms of diet.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if you are allergic to pyridoxin hydrochloride (vitamin B6), folic acid, cyanocobalamine (vitamin B12) or one of the other components of this medicine.
  • for megaloblast anemia as a result of an isolated vitamin B12 deficiency, e.g. due to a lack of intrinsic factor (anemia).
  • with isolated folic acid deficiency.

dosage

• Always take this medicine exactly as described here or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
    • Take 3 tablets evenly over the day.

 

• Duration of the application
  • The duration of the application is not limited.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount of the medicine than you should, please contact your doctor, who will inform you about further measures.

 

• If you have forgotten to take the medicine, you can make up for taking it.

 

• If you cancel the intake of the medicine, a non -treated lack of vitamin can lead to clinical consequences.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of this medicine, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• The medicine can be taken independently of meals.

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking the medicine is required:
  • When taking daily cans over 50 mg of vitamin B6 as well as with short -term use of doses in the gram area, tingling and ants on the hands and feet (signs of peripheral sensory neuropathy, or from paraesthesia) were observed. If you observe tingling and ants on the ants, please contact your treating doctor. This will check the amount of insert and if necessary the medication.

Pregnancy

    • Therefore, you may only use the medicine after careful benefits/risk assessment by the treating doctor.
  • Breastfeeding
    • During breastfeeding, the recommended daily intake for vitamin B6 is 2.4-2.6 mg. Vitamin B6 passes into breast milk. There are no systematic studies on the use of vitamin B6 in doses above the specified daily requirement. High doses of vitamin B6 can inhibit milk production.
    • Therefore, you may only use the medicine after careful benefits/risk assessment by the treating doctor.
