When should I not take Magnetrans®?
Both certain medications and minerals can reduce the absorption of magnesium. Aminoquinolines (for malaria), quinidine and related substances (for cardiac arrhythmias), certain antibiotics, and penicillamine (for rheumatism) should therefore not be used while taking Magnetrans® RelaxPlus.
What influences the absorption of magnesium? Magnetrans® RelaxPlus should also not be taken concurrently with iron, fluorides, or tetracyclines (certain antibiotics). These drugs interfere with each other's absorption.
