Magnesium Sandoz 243 mg effervescent tablets (pack size: 40 pc) is a mineral preparation. It is used:

in the treatment of magnesium deficiency states, provided that these cannot be remedied by dietary measures.

in the case of proven magnesium deficiency if it is the cause of disorders of muscle activity (neuromuscular disorders, calf cramps).

Contradictions

Magnesium Sandoz 243 mg effervescent tablets (pack size: 40 pcs) must not be taken,

• if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against magnesium oxide or one of the other components of Biolectra Magnesium 240 Forte,
• for kidney dysfunction,
• in the case of disorders of the arousal line (AV block higher degree), which lead to slow heartbeat (bradycardia),
• in myasthenia gravis (rare muscle disease),
• in the event of severe water loss,
• for certain urinary stone disorders (calcium-magnesium- ammonium phosphate stones).

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:

• The dosage depends on the degree of magnesium deficiency. The average daily dose is 1-2 effervescent tablets (243-486 mg magnesium ion = 10-20 mmol.
• Children from 6 years: 1 break tablet 1 times a day a day
• Young people and adults: 1-2 times a day 1 effervescent tablet
