How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The active ingredient inhibits inflammatory processes, relieves pain, and reduces fever. It blocks the formation of certain messenger substances called prostaglandins. These play a key role in the development of pain, fever, and inflammation.
Flurbiprofen's anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects are used primarily on the pharyngeal mucosa and the eye.

- Bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract

- Impaired kidney function
- Impaired liver function

Which age group should be considered?
- Children and adolescents under 18 years of age: This medicine must not be used.
- Elderly patients: This medicine should be used with particular caution.

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: Based on current knowledge, use is not recommended. Weaning may be considered.
