Field of use

• The medicine is a vegetable stimulating laxative.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken:
  • If you are allergic to Cascararind or one of the other components of the drug
  • with intestinal obstruction
  • in the case of appendicitis
  • in chronic inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis
  • in the case of abdominal pain of unknown cause
  • with severe lack of fluids with water and salt losses.
  • in children under the age of 12.
  • Due to inadequate toxicological studies, the preparation cannot be taken during pregnancy and lactation.

dosage

• Always take the tablets exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed:
  • Adults and adolescents from the age of 12
    • The highest daily recording must not be more than 30 mg hydroxyanthracial derivatives, which corresponds to 1 ½ film -coated tablets.
    • Adults and children over the age of 12 take 1 to 1 ½ film -coated tablets once a day in the morning or evening.
    • The personally correct dosage is the least required to obtain a soft -shaped chair. The effect occurs after 8 - 12 hours.
• Duration of the application:
  • Note: Stimulating laxatives must not be taken over a longer period of time (more than 1 - 2 weeks) without medical advice.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • With accidental or intended overdose, painful intestinal cramps and severe diarrhea can occur with the result of water and salt losses as well as strong gastrointestinal complaints.
