Field of use

Lavender flowers are a vegetable medicine for calming and digestive complaints (internal application) as well as as a bathing additive (external application) for children from 12 years and adults. The internal application is carried out in the event of a disruptions such as unrest, falling asleep or functional upper abdominal complaints (nervous irritable stomach, Roemheld syndrome, bloated addiction, nervous intestinal complaints). The external application is carried out in bathing therapy for the treatment of functional circulatory disorders.
Note: If the sleep disorders, unrest and anxiety or the digestive complaints last longer (14 days), a doctor should be consulted, as with all unclear symptoms.
Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, in the event of unrest and anxiety, and in the case of digestive complaints, 1 cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk 2 to 3 times a day and in the event of falling asleep before going to sleep: 1 to 2 teaspoon full (0.75 to 1.5 g) Lavender flowers are poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and given after about 10 to 15 minutes through a tea strainer. 10 to 50 g of lavender flowers on 10 l of water or many times are used to prepare baths.

Composition
100 g medicine contain the active ingredient: 100 g lavender flowers. Other components are not included.

Contradictions
Hypersensitivity (allergy) against lavender flowers. Children under the age of 12. No internal use in pregnant women and breastfeeding. In bathing therapy: major skin injuries and acute skin diseases, severe febrile and infectious diseases, heart failure and high blood pressure. In these cases, full baths, regardless of the ingredient, should only be used after consultation with a doctor.
