Instructions for use

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

How should it be used?
Suck the medicine slowly or let it dissolve in the mouth and absorb into the oral cavity.

General dosage recommendation:

Adolescents 12 years and older and adults

1 Lozenge

Active ingredient: Octenidine dihydrochloride.

Indications:
Laryngomedin^® Octenidine Antisept is used for the short-term supportive treatment of inflammation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa, which is accompanied by typical symptoms such as pain, redness, and swelling. Laryngomedin^® Octenidine Antisept is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.

If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 4 days, consult your doctor.

Laryngomedin^® Octenidine Antiseptic – For sore throats and pharyngeal pain

The active ingredient octenidine

Laryngomedin^® Octenidine Antiseptic Lozenges contain octenidine dihydrochloride, or octenidine for short, an active ingredient known for combating bacteria, fungi, and (enveloped) viruses, especially in wound and mucous membrane disinfection. Due to its strong surface-active properties, octenidine reacts with both the components of the cell wall and the membrane of the microbial cell, thereby disrupting cell function.

Contraindications

One lozenge can be taken every 2 to 3 hours, but the maximum daily dose of 6 lozenges should not be exceeded.

Keep Laryngomedin Octenidine Antiseptic 2.6 mg Lozenges (pack size: 24 pcs) out of the reach of children and in the outer carton to protect the contents from light.

Durch meine HNO Ärztin empfohlen. Beim ersten Kratzen im Hals die Lutschtablette im Mund hin und her bewegen und danach gut 1-2 Stunden nix mehr trinken. Angina, Halsschmerzen & Co sind mit dieser Tablette wesentlich schneller schmerzlindernd als andere Produkte.

Das Produkt hilft nach meiner Erfahrung sehr gut. Der Geschmack ist etwas unangenehm, aber es sind ja auch keine Bonbons. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Spray it when you first feel a sore throat and it helps immediately. In combination with the spray of the same name, you are completely free of symptoms the next day. This way the whole family has been able to protect themselves well (2 adults and 2 teenagers). My ENT doctor suggested it. It has been part of the medicine cabinet ever since. We like the taste, by the way.
