Field of use

• The preparation is an anti -inflammatory medicine (antiseptic).
• It is used to support the support of bacterial inflammation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat.

Contradictions

• The preparation must not be used
  • with well -known contact allergy against hexamidine or related amidine
  • if you are hypersensitive to hexamidine, peppermint oil or one of the other components

dosage

• Always apply the preparation exactly according to the instruction.
• Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • Spray the mouth and throat with 1 to 2 strokes several times a day.
• Please stick to your doctor's instructions regarding the duration of use.

 

• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the preparation is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should:
  • No overdosing or poisoning symptoms are known.

 

• If you have forgotten the application:
  • Once you have forgotten an application, you will not apply the double dose next time, but get the application as soon as possible in the specified single dosage of 1 to 2 strokes.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• Insert the spray ear into the mouth, press down the head of the spray ear for 1 to 2 habit.
• Stay your breath while spraying, swallow a few times to achieve an optimal wetting of the mucous membrane of the throat.

Patient information

• Special care in the application is required:
  • If the symptoms are accompanied by fever or if the symptoms do not drop significantly after 3 days at the latest, a doctor must be consulted immediately.
  • In these cases, tonsillitis that requires treatment may be available, which can also lead to serious complications on the heart and kidneys if it is not treated with a suitable antibiotic.
  • In this case, the preparation may only be used for local additional treatment.
  • Effectiveness in the event of inflammation of the gums has not been proven.
• Children:
  • The preparation should not be used in infants and children under the age of 3, unless the doctor expressly permitted it.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines:
  • There are no special precautions required.

Pregnancy

• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using all medicines.
• Since there is no sufficient experiences or investigationsto be used to use hexamidine during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the preparation should only be used with special caution.

Miscellaneous

- The tonsillitis caused by streptococci requires total body treatment with antibiotics. The drug may only be used for local additional treatment.
