LADIVAL® ALLERGISCHE HAUT SONNENSCHUTZ-GEL LSF 30

Year-round sun protection is essential, as it not only protects against sunburn and sun-induced skin aging, but also reduces the risk of skin cancer. To optimally care for people with allergic skin, Ladival® offers the Allergic Skin range. This was specially developed for skin prone to sun allergy (polymorphic light dermatitis/PLD) and Mallorca acne.

IDEAL FÜR DIE TÄGLICHE ANWENDUNG
Thanks to its ultra-light, oil- and emulsifier-free formula, the sunscreen gel absorbs quickly and provides an ideal base for makeup. It not only effectively protects against sun-induced cell damage, but also actively supports the skin's regeneration through photolyase. The non-comedogenic formula gently and protectively coats the skin without causing eye irritation, pilling (lumps of product on the skin), or leaving a white residue – making this sunscreen gel the perfect everyday companion.

ANWENDUNGSEMPFEHLUNG
Apply the sunscreen gel generously to the face, neck, décolleté, and hands. Allow to absorb thoroughly before applying makeup or other facial products. Reapply sunscreen as needed – especially after bathing or sweating. Too little sunscreen reduces the sun protection factor.

Why use special sunscreen for allergic skin?
Allergic skin is particularly sensitive and reacts strongly to the sun's rays. Therefore, it is essential to protect it with a special sunscreen. These must be formulated with particularly low-irritation ingredients to prevent skin reactions such as redness, swelling, or itching.

What makes 4-fold cell protection so special?
Sunrays come in different wavelengths. They have different effects on the skin, but all are damaging to cells. Therefore, it is important to use a sunscreen that provides comprehensive protection. Thanks to its unique 4-fold cell protection, Ladival® Allergic Skin Sunscreen Gel protects against UV-A and UV-B rays, the effects of infrared A radiation, and visible light (including blue light). This also protects the skin from premature, sun-induced aging.

What is photolyase and what is it good for?
Photolyase is a natural enzyme extracted from blue-green algae and used in products such as Ladival® Allergic Skin Sunscreen Gel to support the regeneration of sun-damaged skin. After sun exposure, photolyase helps repair DNA-damage caused by UV-radiation by breaking down stuck DNA-bases, which leads to a soothing of sun-induced redness and tightness. It uses the natural mechanism of photoreactivation to prevent skin damage caused by UV-B radiation and promotes the skin's own regeneration, both during and after sun exposure.

What else should I consider if I have allergic skin?
Skin prone to irritation requires a special emulsifier-free care product after a day in the sun to avoid allergic reactions the next time I sunbathe. Conventional lotions contain emulsifiers that remain in the skin for up to 24 hours. Therefore, for sun allergy and Mallorca acne, a special care product such as Ladival® Allergic Skin After-Sun Care Gel is recommended.
