Koro-Nyhadin ^® film-coated tablets

Active ingredient: Hawthorn Leaves and Flowers Dry Extract
Composition: 1 film-coated tablet contains 450 mg dry extract of hawthorn leaves with flowers (4-7:1). Extraction agent: ethanol 45% (v/v). Otherwise. Ingredients: Maltodextrin, colloidal anhydrous silica, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol, talc, coloring agents titanium dioxide and iron oxide.

Areas of application: Koro-Nyhadin® is a herbal medicine for heart diseases. It is used in declining cardiac output according to NYHA stage II. If the symptoms of the disease persist for more than six weeks or if there is accumulation of water in the legs, it is advisable to consult a doctor. In the case of pain in the heart area, which can radiate into the arms, the upper abdomen or the neck area, or in the case of shortness of breath, immediate medical clarification is absolutely necessary.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to hawthorn or any of the other ingredients of Koro-Nyhadin®. There are insufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children. Koro-Nyhadin® should therefore not be used in children under the age of 12.

Pregnancy and lactation: The widespread use of hawthorn as a medicinal product has not resulted in any indications of risks during pregnancy and lactation. Results of experimental investigations are not available. Therefore, Koro-Nyhadin® should not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side effects: Gastrointestinal complaints, weakness or skin rash can rarely occur. These symptoms usually subside within a few days after stopping the drug.

Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years of age take 1 film-coated tablet twice a day (equivalent to 900 mg hawthorn extract as a daily dose) whole with plenty of liquid at mealtimes.
