Indications

• This is a sterile hypertonic saline solution (sodium chloride solution) and, due to its osmotic action, is used to increase secretion mobilization in the lower respiratory tract in diseases associated with mucus consolidation, e.g., acute bronchiolitis and acute obstructive bronchitis in infants and young children.
• The inhalation solution can be used alone or in combination with bronchodilators, such as bronchial dilators. B. Adrenaline (epinephrine) or salbutamol. The solution can be used as a carrier solution for diluting bronchodilator medications, provided the medication in question is diluted with saline before inhalation according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Dosage

• Always use the saline solution exactly as directed. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
• Dosage
  • inhale the contents of one ampoule (4 ml) 3 to 4 times daily.

• Duration of Treatment
  • The duration of treatment should be determined by the treating physician. Treatment should be continued until symptoms subside. Therefore, a treatment period of several days is usually necessary.

How to Take

• The product is intended for use with an electric nebulizer (ultrasonic nebulizer, jet nebulizer, or membrane nebulizer). The nebulizer and nebulizer accessories (e.g., mouthpiece, mask) should be tailored to the patient's needs (e.g., age, breathing technique). The device manufacturer's instructions for use must be carefully followed. Patient information

• If you are prone to shortness of breath or hypersensitivity, do not use the saline solution without medical advice.
• Children should not inhale unsupervised!
• The inhalation solution does not contain any preservatives. For hygiene reasons, opened ampoules must be disposed of immediately. Damaged ampoules must not be used.
• This product contains small parts that can be swallowed and pose a choking hazard. Keep out of reach of children up to three years of age!
• This solution is intended for inhalation only with an electric nebulizer. It is not suitable for oral administration or parenteral use (injection, infusion).
