Contradictions

Cetylstearyl alcohol can cause locally limited skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis). Often, when using arnica -based preparations, allergic reactions occur in the form of itching and reddening of the skin with blistering (eczema), usually as a result of pre -existing allergies or because of so -called cross reactions in the case of hypersensitivity to other basket blooms, such as chrysanthemums. Frequent and longer -lasting application can promote the new development of allergies against Arnika.
