Field of use

Ketoconazole Klinge 20 mg/g shampoo (package size: 60 ml) is a medical shampoo for the prevention and treatment of infections of the scalp, which are caused by the mushroom pityosporum, such as
- Seborrheic dermatitis- greasy- scaled inflammation of the scalp and other skin regions
- Head scales (Pityriasis capitis)

If the scalp scales and itches long -lasting, a fungal infection is often the cause. If this is based, the use of ketoconazole has proven itself. The active ingredient contained in Ketoconazole Klinge® inhibits the spread of the fungal infection and thus fights the cause of head shed. The shampoo also contains the nourishing auxiliary material Dexpanthenol. Ketoconazole Klinge® can also be used as prevention after acute therapy.

Ketoconazole Klinge 20 mg/g shampoo (pack size: 60 ml) contains:

The active ingredient is ketoconazole.
1 g shampoo contains 20 mg ketoconazole, 1 ml shampoo contains 20.84 mg ketoconazole.

The other components are: sodium dodecyl sulfate paste 70 % 3-dodecyloxycarbonyl-2/3-sulfopropanic acid, Dinatrium salt solution 40 % sodium chloride citronensic monohydrate benzyl alcohol edetinic acid, tetranium salt 2 H20 1,1 'methylenbis[3-(3-hydroxymethyl-2,5- dioxoimidazolidin-4-yl)harnstoff] (Imidurea) Poly[dimethyl(prop-2-en-1-yl)prop-2-en-1-aminiumchlorid-co-prop-2-enamid] Dexpanthenol alpha-dodecyl-omega-hydroxypoly (oxyethylene) -2 sodium hydroxide erythrosine (e 127) cleaned water

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if you are allergic to ketoconazole or one of the other components of this medicine.

dosage

Application recommendation for Ketoconazole Klinge 20 mg/g shampoo (package size: 60 ml):

For use in adults, including older people, and young people:
Wet the hair and scalp thoroughly with water. Use a sufficient amount of shampoo (approx. 5 ml) to wash the hair and scalp with enough foam. Carefully the shampoo over the whole scalplet the eren and 3 - 5 minutes work, then rinse thoroughly.

Your normal shampoo can be used between the applications of Ketoconazole Klinge® 20 mg/g shampoo.

Frequency of application:
Ketoconazole Klinge® 20 mg/g shampoo should be used twice a week over a period of 2 - 4 weeks.

Prophylaxis:
Apply every 1 - 2 weeks to prevent the symptoms.

Taking

• This shampoo is only intended for use on the skin.
• Not to take it! Don't swallow!
• Wet the hair and scalp thoroughly with water.
• Carefully massage the shampoo over the whole scalp and let it take effect for 3 - 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
• Your normal shampoo can be used between the applications from this shampoo if necessary.

• Warnings and Precautions
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using the shampoo.
  • Ketoconazole can irritate the eye mucous membranes, so contact with the eyes should be avoided. If the shampoo still gets in the eye, rinse your eyes thoroughly with clear, cold water.
  • If you have used so -called glucocorticoids such as betamethasone or hydrocortisone over a longer period of time, you should not immediately end the treatment with these drugs at the beginning of the application of this shampoo, but rather reduce their frequency of application over 2 to 3 weeks.
  • This will help to avoid an initial deterioration in the condition of the disease during treatment with this shampoo. If you have any further questions about the end of corticoid treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • The drug has no or a negligible influence on the traffic and the ability to use machines.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using this medicine.
• In general, the preparation can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
