Kaiser Natron® binds and neutralizes all acids and converts them into neutral salts and bubbling carbon dioxide, and is also mild alkaline. Hard water becomes softer by Kaiser Natron®, since his carbonate ions with part of the hardening-forming calcium ion make insoluble compounds that fail and settle. In hot water, Kaiser Natron® loses his carbon dioxide and converts into the more alkaline sodium carbonate. When cooking with the addition of Kaiser Natron®, the hard -fiber, cellulose consisting of cellulose plant parts are opened and soft faster, e.g. for legumes and cabbage species.

My grandma already knew Kaiser Natron. I always put a pinch in my coffee, it binds the acid and makes it more tolerable. Also ideal for washing. Just take it with the washing powder. The laundry becomes cleaner and you hardly need any fabric softener
