Field of use

Medium to treat fungal diseases. Clotrimazole, an active ingredient from the group of broad-spectrum antifungals, inhibits the growth and increase of mushroom cells such as sprout matters (yeast) as well as a number of other mushrooms and some bacteria
- Inflammation of the vagina and discharge by mushrooms (mostly candida)
- Super infections with clotrimazole-sensitive bacteria.

Contradictions

May not be used if they are hypersensitive (allergic) against clotrimazole or one of the other components of the drug. In the case of hypersensitivity to one of the cream components, it is advisable to use a different dosage form (e.g. vaginal tablets) instead of the vaginal cream.

dosage

If you have a application fold (approx. 5 g) once a day on three consecutive days in the evening, insert the external signs of the disease (e.g. discharge, itching) after termination of three-day treatment, one may not have fully subsided Continue treatment only after consultation with the treating doctor. Forgotten application: If you have forgotten the application in the evening, you can make up for it in the course of the following morning. Then only apply an application fleet (approx. 5 g) and continue the treatment as recommended.
Discharge:
If the treatment is not sufficiently long, the fungal disease can spread again or reappear (relapse).

Taking

Insert as deep as possible into the vagina. The application is best done in the case of slightly attracted legs. The treatment should not be carried out for a purpose during menstruation or should be completed before it starts. Mushrooms and to avoid re -infection should make additional local treatment with the dosage forms provided.

Patient information

Please ask your doctor:
- if you are under 18 years old
- if the disease occurs for the first time, since the discharge and inflammation of the vagina can have different causes. In principle, these can only be diagnosed by a doctor.
- if you have occurred more than four such fungal infections over the past 12 months. If the use with latex products (e.g. condoms, diaphragms) at the same time, the functionality contained can reduce functionality and thus impair the safety of these products. Wateriness and operating machines:
There are no special precautions required. Store drug out of reach of children.  

Pregnancy

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs. In addition, you may only use the medicinal product after the appropriate benefit/risk assessment by your treating doctor. During pregnancy, treatment with the vaginal cream should be carried out by the doctor or with vaginal tablets without an applicator.

- The treatment should not be carried out during the regular bleeding or should be completed before the start.
