Field of use

• The medicine is a vegetable medicine in depressive moods.
• It is used for slight temporary depressive disorders.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken if they are hypersensitive (allergic) against St. John's wort, soy, peanut or one of the other components of the drug, with known super sensitivity of the skin and in the event of severe temporary depressive disorders.
• The medicine must not be used together with the following active ingredients:
  • Ciclosporin
  • Tacrolimus
  • Indinavir and other protease inhibitors in the anti-hiv ("AIDS") treatment
  • Irinotecan and other cell growth -inhibiting drugs in cancer treatment
  • other antidepressants

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents take over an excessive tablet twice a day.

 

• Experience has shown that an income period of 4 - 6 weeks is required to significantly improve the symptoms.
• However, if the symptoms of the disease exist for more than 4 weeks or intensify despite the proper dosage, you should see your doctor again. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should:
  • So far, not yet reported acute poisoning by preparations for John.
  • When taking significant overdoses, the affected patients should be protected immediately for a period of 1 - 2 weeks from sunlight and from other UV radiation. (Restrict stay outdoors, sun protection through covering clothing and use of sunscreen with a high sun protection factor, so -called "sun blocker"). The side effects described can occur more.

 

• If you forgot to take the drug:
  • Set the treatment in accordance with the dosage instructions or as prescribed by the doctor.
  • Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake.

 

• If you stop taking:
  • Please speak to your doctor before interrupting the treatment with the medicine or ending prematurely.
  • If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• Take the medicinal product with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water) best to Den meals.

  • Particular caution when taking the drug is required
    • with children:
      • There is no sufficient examinations for the use of this drug in children. It should therefore not be used in children under the age of 12.
    • during pregnancy and breastfeeding:
      • So far, there has been no sufficient experiences with pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
      • Therefore, the drug should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding if the doctor considered it absolutely necessary.
  • When can you only take the medicine after consultation with your doctor?
    • If the drug is used at the same time, the effectiveness of anti-blood clotting means from the Cumarin type (phenprocoumon, warfarin), theophylline and digoxin can be weakened. Therefore, it may be necessary that the dosage of these medicines must be adjusted. Patients who take the medicine and at the same time drugs with one of these active ingredients should therefore obtain the advice of their doctor.
  • What other precautionary measures must be observed?
    • Intensive UV radiation (long sunbathing, high-heeling, solariums) is to be avoided during the application of the drug.
    • In women who occupy or apply hormonal contraceptives ("pill", depot injection, contraceptive plaster, contraceptive implants, contraceptive vaginal ring) and at the same time the medicinal product, there can be heditation and the safety of the "pill" or the other hormonal high -contraceptive measures can be reduced. Additional contraceptive measures should therefore be taken.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines:
  • There are no special precautions required.

Pregnancy

• So far, there has been no sufficient experiences with pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Therefore, the drug should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding if the doctor considered it absolutely necessary.
