IBUHEXAL acute 200 film-coated tablets

Active ingredient: ibuprofen

Areas of application: Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain, such as headache, toothache, menstrual pain, fever.

IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg with the proven active ingredient ibuprofen works quickly for mild to moderate headaches, toothache and menstrual pain. In addition, the drug can also be used to reduce fever.

With the proven active ingredient ibuprofen
IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg film-coated tablets contain the proven active ingredient ibuprofen. The ingredient not only has analgesic and fever-reducing properties, but also has an anti-inflammatory effect. The active principle is based on the inhibition of so-called prostaglandins, which are involved in the development of fever, pain and inflammatory processes. If the body's own messenger substances are no longer formed, there is no sensation of pain. The active ingredient can also be administered to children from the age of 6 years if the dosage is appropriate for their age.

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION:
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 1-2 film-coated tablets IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg whole with plenty of liquid (e.g. a glass of water) as a starting dose. If the maximum single dose has been taken, you must wait at least 6 hours before taking the next dose. However, the total dose, which depends on age, must not be exceeded within 24 hours. It should not be taken on an empty stomach; if you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take it with meals. The drug is intended for short-term use. If the symptoms do not improve within four days or even worsen, please consult a doctor immediately.

Headaches often appear out of nowhere and ruin concentrated work. IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg with ibuprofen can relieve mild to moderate headaches.

HEADACHE, BODY PAIN AND FEVER

Headaches, body aches and fever often occur with colds. IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg relieves pain and at the same time reduces fever.

FOR CHILDREN FROM 6 YEARS OLD

In the case of mild to moderately severe pain and fever, IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg film-coated tablets can be given to children from the age of 6 in an age-appropriate dose.

What are the ingredients in IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg?
1 film-coated tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen. The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, macrogol 400, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc and titanium dioxide (E171).

Can I drive after taking IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg?
Since when taking IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg side effects such as tirednesst, dizziness and visual disturbances can occur, the ability to actively participate in road traffic and to operate machines may be impaired in individual cases. This applies to a greater extent in combination with alcohol.

Since you may not be able to react quickly and specifically enough to sudden events, do not drive the car or other vehicles yourself if you experience any side effects. Do not operate any machines or tools and do not work without a secure footing.

Can IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg be taken while breastfeeding?
A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before taking. Only small amounts of the active ingredient ibuprofen contained in IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg and its degradation products pass into breast milk. Adverse consequences for the infant are not yet known. With short-term use of the recommended dose of IbuHEXAL^® acute 200 mg, it is therefore usually not necessary to interrupt breastfeeding.
