The natural active ingredients of Iberogast® Classic.

The vegetable preparation Iberogast® Classic combines the active ingredients of 9 different medicinal plants in a solution and contains a high concentration of motility-regulating active ingredients that normalize the movement of the gastrointestinal muscles. Depending on the region and tension status of the muscles, they are relaxed or activated. Iberogast® Classic has a painful, antispasmodic, acid -regulating and demonstrating. As a result, it can quickly and reliably relieve different functional gastrointestinal complaints.

Each of the 9 in Iberogast® Classic medicinal plants brings their individual skills that have a positive effect on different areas in the gastrointestinal tract. But only in interaction do the concentrated plant extracts have their proven effect. The medicinal plants contained in Iberogast® Classic are:

dosage

Application recommendation of the Iberogast Classic for functional gastrointestinal complaints (pack size: 20 ml):

The drops are easily taken three times a day together with a little liquid - either in front of or for meals. Before that, you should shake the bottle well.

The following requirements must be observed for correct doses:

• Children between 3 and 5 years take up 10 drops.
• Children between the ages of 6 and 12 take 15 drops each.
• Young people aged 13 and over and adults each take out 20 drops.

Thanks to the screw cap and the robust bottle, you can safely carry Iberogast® Classic in your handbag on the go. Is available Iberogast® Classic without a prescription and in two pack sizes:

• 20 Milliliters for around 20 applications (ideal for taking away)
• 50 Milliliters for around 50 applications (optimal size on trips or for the entire family)

After the bottle broke up, the preparation is up to eight weekn long. If you accidentally took 1 to 2 individual doses of Iberogast® Classic more than intended, i.e. a total of 40 to 60 drops, this usually has no adverse consequences. If you have taken significantly higher doses, you should notify your doctor. Next time, the intake can be continued, as prescribed by the doctor or described in the dosage instructions.

The alcohol contained in Iberogast® Classic does not have to be a reason. It serves to solve and preserve the ingredients from the medicinal plants used. The amount used in a dose is low: the single dose of an adult (20 drops) has about 0.24 grams of alcohol - the same amount that can also occur in a glass of apple juice, for example.

Taking

• Unless otherwise prescribed, the medicine is taken into some liquid 3 times a day before or for meals.
• Shake before use!

Patient information

• Warnings and precautionary measures for the application
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.
  • If you notice yellow coloring of the skin or eyes, dark urine, decolorized stool, pain in the upper abdomen, you should immediately stop taking it and ask a doctor for advice. These can be signs of liver damage.
  • If the symptoms do not improve when used for the first time, a doctor should be consulted after a week in order to exclude organic causes. If the symptoms worsen while taking this drug or new complaints are added, a doctor must be consulted.
  • Children
    • In children under the age of 6, a doctor should basically be consulted for abdominal pain.
    • If your symptoms do not improve or even worsen within 7 days, see your doctor so that more serious illness can be excluded.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • With intended use or recommended dosage of the preparation, no impairment of the ability to participate in road traffic or when operating machines can be expected.

Pregnancy

• The medicine must not be taken by pregnant women and breastfeeding.
