Field of use

The hydrocortisoneratiopharm 0.5% (package size: 30 ml) relieves typical sunburns, insect bites and other slight inflammatory, allergic or itchy skin diseases from you and your child from 7 years of age (skin irritation ). Because Hydrocortisone-ratiopharm 0.5% (package size: 30 ml) protects your irritated skin and that of your child, since the insulation of hydrocortisoneratiopharm 0.5% (pack size: 30 ml) can be dispensed with.
Hydrocortisoneratiopharm 0.5% (pack size: 30 ml) is preferably suitable for use on normal or greasy skin.

Mode of action

Hydrocortisoneratiopharm 0.5% (pack size: 30 ml) contains the active ingredient hydrocortisone. Hydrocortisone is a glucocorticoid that comes from the adrenal cortex and is made by the body itself. It is a hormone that reduces and eliminates the signs of inflammation triggered by the body, such as reddening, swelling, heat and itching.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients mentioned above, the product should not be used.
Do not use the above -mentioned product for specific skin symptoms, such as syphilis, tuberculosis, virus infections (e.g. chickenpox, herpes simplex, herpes zoster), in vaccination reactions or in the event of fungal infection (mycosis). Also in bacterial skin infections, acne vulgaris and steroid acne, skin inflammation near the mouth (perioral dermatitis) or with inflammatory redness of the face (rosacea), as well as in children under the age of 6.

Application recommendation of Hydrocortisone-ratiopharm 0.5% (pack size: 30 ml):

At the beginning of your therapy, if your symptoms are still very strong, the 2 to 3 times daily application of the hydrocortisone-ratiopharm 0.5% (packagesize: 30 ml) [A68) ]. When improving your clinical picture, a one-time application per day (or every 2- 3 days) with Hydrocortisone-ratiopharm 0.5% (pack size: 30 ml).
In children aged 6 and over, external therapy with Hydrocortisone-ratiopharm should be 0.5% (pack size: 30 ml) with restraint.
Hydrocortisoneratiopharm 0.5% (package size: 30 ml) should usually not be used for more than 2 weeks. The duration of the treatment depends on the type, severity and course of the disease.

Tip:
Do not apply the spray in an area of more than 1/10 of your body surface for more than 1 week.
Avoid a large and/or long -lasting application of the drug. By using this alcohol -containing spray, the duration of use d canincreasing increasing drying of the skin. In the event of significant drying symptoms (e.g. scaling, tensioning, itching), when the symptoms are stopped or worsening, consultation with a doctor should be taken.

    • Special caution is required for older people because the barrier performance of the outer layer of skin (horny layer) is weaker in older age.

• Breastfeeding
