What is Homviotensin®?
Homviotensin® is a medicine for the gentle treatment of blood pressure disorders. Symptoms caused by fluctuating blood pressure, such as dizziness, headaches, or circulatory problems, are gently treated with Homviotensin®.
How does Homviotensin®work?
Homviotensin® contains a carefully balanced combination of active ingredients from four different medicinal plants: mistletoe (Viscum album), hawthorn (Crataegus), snake root (Rauwolfia), and queen of the night (Cactus). Mistletoe contains certain substances (e.g., lectins, flavonoids, and viscotoxins) that have a positive effect on blood pressure. Hawthorn contains flavonoids, which promote blood flow to the heart muscle and reduce vascular resistance. The oligomeric procyanidins also contained in the herb increase the heart muscle's beat force, promote blood flow to the heart and coronary arteries, and reduce the resistance the heart encounters when pumping blood into the vessels. Snake root influences both the vascular system and the central nervous system. Furthermore, snake root has a calming and mood-enhancing effect. Queen of the Night contains biogenic amines (of the so-called tyramine type), which can have a beneficial effect on cardiac activity.

Dosage
Recommended use of Homviotensin Oral Drops (Pack size: 50 ml):
For acute conditions, take 5-10 drops every half hour and up to a maximum of 12 times daily. For chronic conditions, take 5-10 drops 1-3 times daily. To improve effectiveness, the drops should be left undiluted in the mouth for about one minute. They can also be taken on a piece of sugar or bread, or with a sip of water, which should be held in the mouth for as long as possible.
Pregnancy
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, use only after consulting a doctor.
