Field of use

• This preparation is a medicine to reduce swelling.
• The medicine is used for supporting treatment at:
  • acute swelling states after blunt injuries (e.g. bruises, bruises)
  • superficial vein inflammation, provided that this cannot be treated by compression, primary therapeutic measure in the superficial venetonal inflammation of the lower limbs is compression treatment.

Contradictions

• The preparation must not be used
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against heparin or one of the other components of this medicine.
  • if you have an acute or from the history of well -known allergic waste of the number of plates of blood (thrombocytopenia type II) by heparin.

dosage

• Always apply this medicine as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is:
  • Apply the ointment evenly to the disease area 2 to 3 times a day.
  • Apply the ointment thick when used under one bandage and then create an ointment association.

 

• Duration of the application
  • Unless otherwise prescribed, the ointment must not be used for more than 10 days.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Taking

• Apply the ointment evenly to the disease area.
• Apply the ointment thick when used under one bandage and then create an ointment association.

Patient information

• Special care in the application is required
  • The ointment should not be applied to open wounds or oozing eczema.
  • When the occurrence of new symptoms that can indicate thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, such as
    • Swelling and feeling of heat in the affected body part,
    • red and tense skin, possibly blue coloring,
    • Feeling of tension and pain in foot, calf and knees (relief in the event of high storage),
    • sudden shortage of breath, chest pain and weakness/collapse,
  • the presence of a heparin-induced thrombocytopenia type II must be excluded and the number of blood (platelet number) must be checked immediately. No longer apply the preparation and immediately inform your doctor.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • There are no effects on the ability to drive and that Operating machines known.

Pregnancy

• Previous experiences with the use of pregnant and breastfeeding have not shown any indications of harmful effects. Heparin is not placent agent and does not move into breast milk.
