Overdose?

Forgot to take?
Continue taking it as normal (i.e. not double the amount) at the next prescribed time.

Active ingredient: Dried iron (II) sulfate.

50mg: Adults and children from a body weight of 25kg.
Warning: Contains lactose and sucrose. Please only take Haemoprocan after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

Contraindications
- The drug must not be taken,
- if you are allergic to ferrous sulphate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- if you suffer from anemia caused by infections or cancer, unless you have an iron deficiency at the same time.
- if you have a build-up of iron in your blood (raised iron levels) and iron utilization disorders.
dosage
- Always take this medicine exactly as described or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
- Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- Adults take 1 film-coated tablet 4 times a day.
- Application in children
- Children weighing 25 kg or more take one film-coated tablet 3 times a day.
- It is not intended for use in children weighing less than 25 kg.
- For people suffering from kidney or liver disease
- There is insufficient data for specific dosage recommendations in the case of impaired kidney function/liver function.
- The amount of iron to be supplied to the body depends on the stage of iron deficiency. Please ask your doctor about this.
- Duration of treatment
- The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the disease. In principle, iron therapy is required over a period of at least 8 weeks in order to achieve successful therapy.
- After the blood values (hemoglobin) have normalized, treatment should be continued for another 6 - 8 weeks to replenish the iron supply.
- Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.
- If you take more than you should

- In principle, medicines should be taken as prescribed by the doctor.

Revenue

- Lactation
