Field of use

Glycilax for adults (package size: 12 pc) belongs to the group of laxants (medium against constipation). The drug is used in the event of constipation and painful stool emptying. Glycilax for adults (pack size: 12 pc) is also applicable during pregnancy and lactation. Suitable for hemorrhoidal complaints, anal fissures and inflammation in the area of the anus

Mode of action

Glycilax for adults (package size: 12 pc) With the active ingredient glycerol, a mild preparation for promoting digestion is by softening the intestinal content and increasing the lubricability of the chair. This can stimulate the bowel movement and the emptying can be facilitated.

1 g glycerol 85%
Cetomacrogol 1000 auxiliary substances (+)

Contradictions

The medicine must not be used if there is an intestinal obstruction if it is hypersensitive to the effective component or one of the other components of the medicine.

The suppositories are to be kept cool or, if necessary, to keep it under cold water before use in the film.

Adults introduce 1-2 suppository (corresponding to 1 - 2 g glycerol 85 %) if necessary.
Another suppositories can be introduced for stubborn constipation.

Duration of the application: In the case of stubborn or long -term constipation, it is advisable to see a doctor who then decides on further treatment. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

Patient information

Particular caution when using the medicine is required if the abdominal pain is unclear (e.g. if there was suspected appendicitis).
