Field of use

• The preparation contains a dry extract made of ginkgo biloba leaves.
• It is a herbal medicine to improve age -related cognitive impairment and quality of life with mild dementia.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken,
  • if you are allergic to Ginkgo Biloba extract or one of the other components of this medicine,
  • during pregnancy.

dosage

• Always take this medicine exactly after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose for adults and older patients is 1/2 film -coated tablet twice a day.
• The twice daily intake should take place in the morning and evening.
• The tablet can be divided into the same doses.
• Application in children and adolescents
  • There is no relevant indication for children and adolescents.
• Special patient groups
  • There is no data for dosage in the event of limited kidney or liver function.
• Duration of use
  • The treatment should be at least 8 weeks.
  • If the symptoms have not improved after 3 months or the symptoms of the disease will increase, the doctor must check whether the continuation of the treatment is still justified.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • No cases of overdose are known. They could suffer more symptoms such as in the "side effects" category.
  • If you have taken an overdose of Ginkgo, contact your doctor or look for medical advice as you may need medical treatment.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake
  • Do not take the double amount if you have forgotten the prior intake.

Taking

• The film -coated tablets should be taken orally. Do not take the tablets on the back. The tablets should be swallowed as a whole (not chewed) with liquid, preferably with a glass of drinking water. The intake can take place independently of the meals.

  • Children and adolescents
    • There is no relevant indication for children and adolescents.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • Your doctor will tell you whether your illness is allowed to drive you and operate machines.
  • There were no sufficient studies on the effects on the traffic and operating machines.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this drug.
