Field of use

• The medicine is a vegetable medicine in catarrhals in the airways.
• Field of use
  • Cold diseases of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus, to improve the symptoms in acute bronchitis.
  • In the event of long -lasting symptoms or when the breath, fever as well as in the case of purulent or bloody expectoration, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if you are hypersensitive to thyme or other lamiaceen (lip bloom), birch, mugwort, celery or one of the other components of the medicine.
  • if you suffer from the rare, inherited fructose intolerance or rare glucose-galactose malabsorption.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
    • Children from 1 - under 4 years (approx. 8 - 19 kg)
      • Single dose: 5 ml syrup (corresponding to 936 mg thyme fluidextract)
      • Total dose: 3 ml of syrup 3 times a day (corresponding to 2808 mg thyme fluidextract)
    • Children from 4 - 12 years (approx. 20 - 29 kg)
      • Single dose: 7.5 ml syrup (corresponding to 1404 mg thyme fluidextract)
      • Total dose: 4 times a day 7.5 ml syrup (corresponding to 5616 mg thyme fluidextract)
    • Children from 12 years and adults
      • Single dose: 15 ml syrup (corresponding to 2808 mg thyme fluidextract)
      • Total dose: 3 times a day 15 ml syrup (corresponding to 8424 mg thyme fluidextract)

 

• Duration of the application
  • Do not take this medicine without a medical advice for more than 1 week.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken/applied a larger amount of the medicine than you should
  • Symptoms of symptoms after accidental overdose with thyme or thyme extracts are not known.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake / application of the medicine
  • Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

    • Since there is no sufficient examinations for the use of this drug, the drug in children under 1 year should not be used.

  • There are no special precautions required.

• Pregnancy and breast feeding period
  • Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.
  • Since there is no sufficient examinations for the use of this drug, the medicine should not be applied to pregnant women during breastfeeding.

Miscellaneous

- The amount of alcohol supplied with the medicine in the specified dosage for children from 1 to under 4 years. A glass of apple or grape juice can of course contain 0.28 to 0.34 g alcohol. - 15 ml of the drug contain 8.7 g of a mixture of glucose and fructose accordingly approx. 0.75 bread units (BE). This must be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus. - The medicine can be kept for three years and can be used for 12 months after opening the container.
