GELENCIUM^® Enzyme Complex is a modern, high-dose enzyme preparation from the leading arthrosis pharmacy brand GELENCIUM^®. This combines three valuable enzymes (bromelain, papain, protease) with antioxidant rutin and essential micronutrients for joint health. The 3-fold enzyme combination convinces in comparison to the competition with an above-average daily dose of 1,500 mg. The plant substance rutin is included for enzyme activation. The enteric-coated DRCaps^®ensure optimal bioavailability. They delay the release of the enzymes, which means that the enzymatic activity is fully preserved.

In order for the valuable enzymes to retain their biological activity, they must be protected from gastric acid. The innovative DRCaps GELENCIUM^® are therefore used for^® Enzyme Complex. The capsule shell only dissolves in the intestine after approx. 50 minutes and thus ensures a delayed release of the enzymes. The enzymatic activity is fully retained. Conventional gelatin or HPMC-capsules, on the other hand, dissolve in the stomach after about 5 minutes, so that the gastric acid largely destroys the enzymes.
