Field of use

Folic acid stada 5 mg tablets (pack size: 100 pcs) To treat folic acid deficiencies that cannot be remedied dietetically, vitamin preparation for the treatment of folic acid fault states. Contains lactose.

Folic acid stada 5 mg tablets (pack size: 100 pc) contains:

The active ingredient is: folic acid.
Each tablet contains 5 mg folic acid.

The other components are: cellulose powder, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate (ph.eur.), High-disperses silicon dioxide, talc.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, this product should not be used.

Application recommendation of Folic acid Stada 5 mg tablets (pack size: 100 pc):

The recommended dose is:
Depending on the need, 1 to 3 tablets per day (corresponding to 5-15 mg folic acid).

The tablets are taken with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water) for meals.

The duration of the treatment depends on the extent of the folic acid lack and depends on the clinical image and, if necessary, based on the corresponding laboratory diagnostic measurement variables and is determined by the doctor for each patient.
Please speak to your doctor if you have the impression that the effect of folic acid Stada is too strong or too weak.

• The tablets are taken with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water) for meals.

  • Even in the event of life-threatening megaloblast anemia, a possible vitamin B₁₂deficiency must be excluded due to the risk of permanent damage to the nervous system before the start of therapy (securing serum and erythrocyte samples and determining the vitamin B₁₂-Contain).

  • So far, there have been no effects on the traffic and operating machines.
