Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken,
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against the active ingredient iron sulfate or one of the other components of the preparation.
  • if you suffer from anemia caused by infections or cancer, unless there is an iron deficiency.
  • if you have an accumulation of iron in the blood (increased iron values) and iron recycling disorders.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to this instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Adults take 1 film -coated tablet twice a day.
• The amount of iron to be performed by the body depends on the stage of iron deficiency. Please ask your doctor.

 

• Duration of the application:
  • The duration of the treatment depends on the type and severity of the disease. In principle, iron therapy to achieve therapy success is required over a period of at least 8 weeks. After normalizing the blood values (hemoglobin), it should be treated for 6-8 weeks to fill up the iron supply.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the preparation is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should:
  • Inform your doctor.

 

• If you forgot to take it:
  • In principle, medicines should be taken according to the doctor's prescription. Please do not compensate for forgotten income by doubling the number of film -coated tablets, but in these cases continue taking it as originally planned.

 

• If you stop taking the drug:
  • Please contact your doctor or pharmacist beforehand, which can best assess any effects on your condition.

Taking

• The film -coated tablets should be taken sober in the morning or 1 hour before meals, unsceded with sufficient fluid to möglichy damage to the mucous membrane by stuck tablets.
