Faktu Lind hemorrhoid suppositories (pack size: 25 pcs) are a herbal medicinal product containing witch hazel for the effective, natural treatment of hemorrhoidal symptoms in the early stages.

The FAKTU lind suppositories with witch hazel are exclusively for rectal use and are therefore particularly suitable for use at night or on the go. The suppositories work quickly, inhibit inflammation, and promote wound healing, thereby relieving itching and burning. Witch hazel also relieves mild and persistent symptoms of hemorrhoids, such as oozing.

Herbal relief with over-the-counter witch hazel suppositories
The herbal hemorrhoid suppositories from FAKTU lind are available over-the-counter at pharmacies and help reduce the initial symptoms of hemorrhoids in the early stages. When the anus itches
Approximately 2 out of 3 adults are affected by hemorrhoidal symptoms. They occur when the hemorrhoids enlarge. The symptoms of enlarged hemorrhoids usually develop slowly. Occasionally, one feels itching and slight burning in the anal area, or bright red blood may be seen on the toilet paper.

How do hemorrhoids develop?
Everyone has hemorrhoids. They are ring-shaped blood vessel cushions located behind the anal sphincter in the anal canal. They seal the rectum from the outside and prevent stool residue, secretions, and intestinal gas from escaping. If prolonged pressure is exerted on the blood vessel cushions, the blood cannot drain away, and the bulging hemorrhoids are pushed outward, especially in cases of constipation and forced bowel movements. What are the causes of hemorrhoid problems

Mode of action

How do witch hazel suppositories work?
Witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) contains a high tannic acid content, which has an astringent effect and thus reduces oozing and bleeding. At the same time, the tannic acid accelerates the healing process and forms a protective film on irritated skin.

Active ingredients / Ingredients

1 Suppository of Faktu Lind Hemorrhoid Suppositories (pack size: 25 suppositories) contains:

Active ingredient: 400 mg witch hazel leaf extract (1:2), extraction solvent: ethanol 60% (v/v).

Other ingredients: Glycerol monooleates; hard fat; microcrystalline hydrocarbons (C40-C60); polyglycerol poly(12-hydroxystearate); highly dispersed silicon dioxide, methylated; alpha-tocopherol (Ph. Eur.). FAKTU Lind Hemorrhoid Suppositories are available in packs of 10 suppositories.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, do not use the product.

Dosage

Recommended use of Faktu Lind hemorrhoid suppositories (pack size: 25 pcs):

It is best to use the hemorrhoid suppositories after a bowel movement. To use, pull the suppository foil apart at the top ends so that the suppository can be easily removed. Since the skin in the anal area is sensitive, insertion should be slow and gentle. Short fingernails provide additional protection against further injury.

How deep should hemorrhoid suppositories be inserted?
The hemorrhoid suppositories should not be inserted too far into the anal canal, reaching the first or second finger joint. The suppository should still be palpable with the fingertip.

How to take

• Rectal application
• The suppositories are inserted deep into the anus daily, morning and evening, preferably after defecation.
• Note:
  • When using ointments and suppositories in the anal area, body heat may cause soiling of underwear. Therefore, it is recommended to use a pad.

    • in case of acute onset of symptoms
    • if no improvement occurs within 7 days
    • in case of advanced hemorrhoidal disease and other palpable external changes

  • In case of fungal infections, the additional use of a locally effective antifungal agent is required.
  • Children
    • There are no adequate studies on the use of this medicine in children.
    • These suppositories should not be used in children under 12 years of age.

There is no experience with its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Treatment of hemorrhoids with preparations containing tannins should only be undertaken after consultation with a doctor and should not be used for longer than 2 weeks.
