Field of use

• The medicine is a vitamin preparation.
• It is used to treat a vitamin E lack.
• It is not suitable for the treatment of vitamin E deficiency states that are associated with a disturbed absorption of vitamin E from the intestine. In these cases, parenteral preparations (injection solutions) are available.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against vitamin E or one of the other components.

dosage

• Always take the preparation exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is
  • Adults occupy 1 soft capsule every day (corresponding to 268.4 mg RRR-alpha-tocopherol).

 

• Duration of the application
  • The duration of the application depends on the course of the underlying disease.
  • Please ask your doctor!
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • Please speak to your doctor.
  • Dangerous symptoms due to overdosing (hypervitaminosis) are not known.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake
  • Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake. Go on to take it, as described in the dosage instructions.

 

• If you have any further questions about taking the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• Please take the soft capsules unscrewed with sufficient liquid (preferably 1 glass of drinking water).

Patient information

• Particular caution is required when taking it
  • if you use certain medicines to inhibit blood clotting at the same time.
  • if you have a vitamin K deficiency at the same time. In the case of combined, combined vitamin E and vitamin K deficiency due to malabsorption (disturbed recording), the blood clotting must be monitored carefully, since in individual cases there was a strong drop in vitamin K.

Pregnancy

• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.
• Pregnancy
  • During pregnancy you should consume 13 mg vitamin E every day.
  • The placenta passes. So far, no damage has been observed in the unborn child - even with higher income quantities.
• Breastfeeding
  • During breastfeeding you should consume 17 mg vitamin E every day. Vitamin E gets into breast milk.
