Field of use

Eudorlin Ibuprofen 40 mg/ml suspension Z.intake (pack size: 100 ml) is a medicine for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever. Eudorlin Ibuprofen 40 mg/ml suspension Z. ingest (pack size: 100 ml) is suitable for use in children with a body weight of 10 kg (1 year), adolescents and adults.

Eudorlin Ibuprofen 40 mg/ml suspension for use (pack size: 100 ml) contains:

The active ingredient is: ibuprofen.
1 ml oral suspension contains 40 mg ibuprofen.

The other components are:
Sodium benzoate (E211), anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, saccharin sodium, sodium chloride, hypromellose, xanthan gum, maltitol solution, glycerol (E422), thaumatin (E957), strawberry flavor (natural flavor preparations, corn maltodextrin, triethyl citrate (E-1505), propylene glycol (E-1520) and benzyl alcohol), purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

dosage

Recommended use of Eudorlin Ibuprofen 40 mg/ml suspension for use (pack size: 100 ml):

Body weight (age): 10 – 15 kg (children 1 – 3 years)
Single dose: 100 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 2.5 ml suspension)
Total daily dose: 300 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 7.5 ml suspension)

Body weight (age): 16 – 19 kg (children 4 – 5 years)
Single dose: 150 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 3.75 ml suspension)
Total daily dose: 450 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 11.25 ml suspension)

Body weight (age): 20 – 29 kg (children 6 – 9 years)
Single dose: 200 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 5 ml suspension)
Total daily dose: 600 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 15 ml suspension)

Body weight (age): 30 - 39 kg (children 10 - 11 years)
Single dose: 200 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 5 ml suspension)
Total daily dose: 800 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 20 ml suspension)

Body weight (age): ≥ 40 kg (adolescents aged 12 and over and adults)
Single dose: 200 – 400 mg ibuprofen (corresponding to 5 – 10 ml suspension)
Total daily dose: 1,200 mg ibuprofen (equivalent to 30 ml suspension)

In children and adolescents, Eudorlin Ibuprofen 40 mg/ml suspension is dosed (pack size: 100 ml) depending on body weight, usually 7 to 10 mg/kg body weight as a single dose up to a maximum of 30 mg/kg Body weight as a total daily dose. The interval between doses should be at least 6 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

The pack contains a 5 ml oral syringe (graduated in 0.25 ml increments). The oral suspension can be taken without regard to meals. People with a sensitive stomach are recommended to take Eudorlin Ibuprofen 40 mg/ml suspension Z. (pack size: 100 ml) during meals.

1. Shake bottle before use.
2. To open the bottle, press the cap down and turn it in the direction of the arrow.
3. Insert the oral syringe into the opening.
4. Turn the bottle vertically down, hold the syringe and gently pull the plunger to the required mark.
5. Turn the bottle back to the upright position and gently twist to release the syringe.
6. To administer the syrup, insert the end of the syringe into your child's mouth and slowly push the plunger back into the barrel. Please adjust the speed to suit your child's swallowing.

Intake

• To take.
• Shake the bottle vigorously before use!
• 5 ml of juice corresponds to 200 mg of ibuprofen.
• The medicine can be taken without regard to meals. For patients who have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the medicine with meals.

Patient information

The simultaneous intake of Eudorlin Ibuprofen 40 mg/ml suspension Z. (pack size: 100 ml) with other NSAIDs, including so-called selective COX-2 inhibitors (cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors), should be avoided become.

Pregnancy

Pregnancy:

Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking Eudorlin Ibuprofen 40 mg/ml suspension Z. (pack size: 100 ml) . Do not take this medicine in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid taking this medicine in the first 6 months of pregnancy unless your doctor tells you to.

Breastfeeding:

Only small amounts of ibuprofen and its breakdown products pass into breast milk. Since adverse effects on the infant are not yet known, interruption of breastfeeding is usually not necessary when using ibuprofen for short periods at the recommended dose.
