Emser Salt allows acute and chronic runny nose faster and promotes recovery after operations on the sinuses. It is a mixture of many different salts, such as sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium or chloride. This salt mixture helps to keep the nose's mucous membrane surface moist and solve tough secretions. It can also be used as an accompanying measure of treatment to accelerate healing after a sinus surgery.

Mode of action

The natural Emser salt serves in solution of the local treatment of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract. A nasal rinsing with the salt solution or its inhalation ensures moistening the mucosal surface, increases the stroke frequency of the ziliar hair and thereby improves the cleaning mechanism of the respiratory tract. Another positive effect of the application of the Emser Salt in the bag 1,475g (pack size: 20 pc)solution is the relaxation of fixed slime for acute infections. Contradictions

Emser Salt in the bag 1.475g (pack size: 20 pc) must not be used at:

• well -known hypersensitivity to Emser Salt
• Injuries to the nasal roof and the sinus walls in conjunction with rhinoliquorrhea (exit from liquid from the nose)
• greatly increased tendency to nosebleed

Particular caution when using the Emser salt in the bag 1,475g (pack size: 20 pc) consists of:

• pronounced hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract (e.g. asthma bronchial)
• Compliance with a low-potassium and sodium diet (please note the content of the potassium and sodium ion per dose!)

Emser Salt in the bag 1.475g (pack size: 20 pc) must be used in water. This is usually done in isoosmotic concentration (11.8 g Emser Salt in 1000 ml of water or 1 Emser Salt in the bag 1.475g (pack size: 20 pc) in 125 ml water), but can also be possible in higher concentrations according to a doctor. The following applies:

• Inhalation: inhale 3-4 times a day for 10-15 minutes through the nose (the volume of the solution depends on the noisy type.)
• Rinse nose: Rinse your nose 1-3 times a day with 100-300 ml

Emser Salt in a bag of 1.475g (pack size: 20 pc) you should preferably use together with the Nasanita Nasenendusche Junior, PZN 6478010, since bag and filling volume are coordinated.
