Composition: 1 l contains: active ingredients: potassium chloride 0.222 g, calcium chloride dihydrate 0.185 g, magnesium chloride hexahydrate 0.15 g, sodium acetate trihydrate 3.4 g, sodium chloride 2.63 g, glucose monohydrate 55.0 g ( ^ mmol/l: Na+ 70, K+ 3, Ca2+ 1.25, Mg2+ 0.75, Cl- 52, acetate 25). Otherwise. Consists: Water for injections, hydrochloric acid 36%.

Application: hypertonic dehydration, isotonic dehydration, partial coverage of energy requirements, carrier solution for compatible electrolyte concentrates and medication.

Contraindications: Hyperhydration, hypotonic dehydration, hypokalemia, severe congestive heart failure, severe renal failure with oliguria or anuria, severe generalized edema. Adverse: Frequency not known: Hospital-acquired hyponatraemia, hyponatraemic encephalopathy. Occasionally hypersensitivity reactions in the form of urticaria in connection with the i. v.
