Aurica oak bark tea consists of the dried and crushed pieces of bark of the oak. The oak bark has always been an estimated home remedy that is used in many ways. Your tea is drunk against gastrointestinal problems such as diarrhea and for better digestion. Because of its collapse effect, which prevents bacteria and germs from spreading further, oak bark tea is also used externally in inflammatory skin diseases. Dosage instructions and type of application: Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk in diarrhea 2 x a day: ½ teaspoon of oak bark tea (approx. 1.5 g) with 150 ml of water, for approx. 10 - 15 Heat for the minutes and then give it through a tea strainer. To prepare full and partial baths, 5 g oak bark on 1 l of water or many times are used.
Contraindications: There are no contraindications in the event of internal application. External application: In the event of large -scale skin damage, the medicine should not be used.
Full baths are not to be applied for large -scale eczema and skin injuries, feverish and infectious diseases, for heart failure stage III and IV (NYHA); High blood pressure stage IV (WHO).
There are no sufficient examinations for the use of oak bark during pregnancy and breastfeeding and in children under 12 years.
Interactions by other means: Inner application: Drinking oak bark tea can delay the intake of other, simultaneous medicines in the intestine. There should therefore be a distance of 1/2 to 1 hour before and after taking medicines. If used externally, no interactions are known by other means.
Side effects: no known. If you observe side effects with you, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Notes: In the event of diarrhea, the most important therapeutic measure must be paid to the replacement of liquid and salts (electrolytes). In the event of diarrhea that lasts longer than 2 days or with blood and temperature increases, a doctor should be consulted.
