Oak bark tea
Field of use
Oak bark is a vegetable medicine in the event of diarrhea, with inflammation in the mouth and throat, as well as for wound treatment for children from 12 years and adults. The medicine is internally in the case of non -specific, acute diarrhea; Slight inflammation in the mouth and throat area as well as in the genital and anal area and externally used to promote scab formation in inflammatory skin diseases. Notes: In the event of diarrhea that lasts for more than 2 days or with blood and temperature increases, a doctor should be consulted. Diarrhea in infants and toddlers generally require a consultation with a doctor. If the symptoms last for more than 1 week, return or unclear symptoms if the complaints last for more than 1 week, a doctor must be visited. In the event of strong redness of the wound edges, in large, oozent or purulent infected wounds, consultation with a doctor is required.
Dosage and method of administration
Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 cup of the tea infusion, which is prepared as follows, is drunk twice a day: œ teaspoonful open oak bark is poured over with approx. 150 ml of water, heated for about 10 to 15 minutes and then added by a tea strainer if necessary.
For rinsing, gurgling and preparing envelopes, an infusion in the specified amount or the required multiple is produced as follows: 2 g oak bark are poured over with approx. 100 ml of water, heated for about 10 to 15 minutes and then if necessary by a Tee strainer.
To prepare full and partial baths, 5 g oak bark on 1 l of water or many times are used.

Contradictions
