Field of use

• The preparation contains the active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride, which belongs to the drug group of so-called non-steroidal inflammatory inhibitors or NSAIDs (medium for pain, fever and inflammation).
• Benzydamine hydrochloride has a painful and decongestant (anti -inflammatory). It is used to treat pain and irritation in the mouth and throat:
  • Moon ulcers
  • Teething
  • Sore throat
  • Inflammation of the tongue or gums
  • Complaints in connection with dentures
  • If the doctor recommends, benzydamine hydrochloride is also used to relieve complaints in dental treatment.

Contradictions

• The preparation must not be used if they are allergic to one of the components of this drug.

dosage

• Always apply this medicine as described or exactly according to the agreement made with your doctor, dentist or pharmacist. Ask your doctor, dentist or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Adults, young people and the elderly
  • The recommended dose is 4 - 8 sprays every 1½ to 3 hours on the inflamed or painful area.
• Children between the ages of 6 and 12
  • The recommended dose is 4 sprays every 1½ to 3 hours on the inflamed or painful area.
• Children under 6 years
  • The recommended dose is 1 spray per 4 kilogram body weight up to a maximum of 4 sprays every 1½ to 3 hours on the inflamed or painful area.
  • Do not use the medicine in children who cannot stop their breath during the sprays.
• If you don't feel better or worse after 3 days, contact your doctor. You should not apply this medicine without consulting your doctor for more than 7 days.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • If you have used an excessive amount of the drug or have accidentally swallowed large amounts of the drug, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

 

• If you have forgotten the application
  • Do not apply twice the amount if you have forgotten the previous application. Continue treatment with the next regular application.

• Spray for application in the oral cavity
• Do not apply benzydamine hydrochloride on the eye or near the eyes. If some spray gets into your eyes, rinse it immediately with cold water.

  • Please speak to your doctor, dentist or pharmacist before application:
    • if you suffer from asthma or have already had asthma in the past,
    • if you are hypersensitive to acetylsalicylic acid or otherre is for pain, fever and inflammation (non-steroidal anti-rheumatics or NSAIDs).
    • If you use this medicine over a period of too long, it can cause allergic reactions. In this case, you should stop taking treatment with the preparation.
    • Avoid contact with your eyes.

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this drug.
• You should only use this medicine during pregnancy or lactation if your doctor considers this absolutely necessary.
