Field of use

Diclofenac Abz Pain gel is used in adults and young people aged 14 and over.

For adults
For symptomatic treatment of pain:
- for acute strains, sprains or bruises in a row of dull trauma; - the soft tissues close to the joints (e.g. bushed burs, tendons, tendon sheaths, ligaments, muscle approaches and joint capsules) for osteoarthritis of the knee and finger joints; - in epicondylitis (inflammation of the tendon approaches in the area of the elbow, also called tennis gel or golferelle arch); - For acute muscle pain, e.g. B. in the back area.

Mode of action

Treat movement pain exactly where you appear. DICLOFENAC AB pain gel 10 mg/g gel (package size: 150 g) has an pain -relieving and anti -inflammatory effect on acute strains, sprains, bruises and joint diseases such as osteoarthritis. The pain gel with the active ingredient diclofenac from AB-Pharma can be applied to the affected area three to four times a day and is suitable for adults and young people aged 14 and over.

Active ingredients:
50 mg propylene glycol (E 1520) per 1 g gel.

This drug contains a fragrance with benzyl alcohol (0.15 mg/g), citronellol, geraniol, linalool, D-limons, citral, fernesol, cumarin and eugenol, which can cause allergic reactions. Benzyl alcohol can also cause light local irritation.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, the medicine should not be used.

Application recommendation for Diclofenac AB pain gel 10 mg/g gel (pack size: 150 g):

For application on the skin.
The gel is applied thinly to the affected parts of the body and slightly rubbed into the skin. Then the hands should be washed, unless these are the area to be treated. Before creating an association, the gel should dry up on the skin for a few minutes.

Adults and adolescents from the age of 14
Diclofenac AB pain gel 10 mg/g gel (pack size: 150 g) is to be applied 3-4 times a day.
Depending on the size of the affected area, a cherry to walnut-sized amount, corresponding to 1- 4 g gel, is required.
The maximum total daily dose is 16 g gel.

Taking

• Carefully distribute a small amount of gel on the skin surface to be treated.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the gel can be applied twice a day. When applying the gel onto the skin you may find a light cooling effect.
• Wash your hands after applying the gel, unless your hands are the area to be treated.

• Warnings and Precautions
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this preparation.
  • The possibility of systemic side effects after applying the drug cannot be excluded if the product is applied to large skin areas and over a longer period of time. Consult your doctor if you:
    • have a gastrointestinal ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding or have in the past,
    • Having cardiac, liver or kidney problems,
    • have any kind of bleeding disorder or easily get bruises.
  • During the application of the drug, both direct sun exposure and visiting tanning studios must be avoided. Disconnect the product when skin reactions occur.
  • Do not apply to wounds, infected skin or eczema.
  • The medicine must not get in the eye or come into contact with the oral or nasal mucosa and must not be swallowed. If the preparation has been accidentally swallowed up, see a doctor immediately.
  • Set the gel and contact your doctor if you develop an extensive hood exchange.
  • If you have applied Diclofenac-containing products to the skin, you can use an air-permeable (non-iclective) bandage. Do not use air -free, occlusive bandages.

Pregnancy

• Pregnancy
  • Before using the drug, ask your doctor for advice if you are pregnant or suspect pregnancy. The preparation can be used with caution in the first six months of pregnancy, but may no longer be used during the last 3 pregnancy months.
• Breastfeeding
  • Contact your doctor if you breastfeed. The drug can be used with caution during breastfeeding, but must not be applied to the chest.
• If you are pregnant to get pregnant, or breastfeeding and your doctor considers the treatment to be adequately, the preparation may not be applied to more than a third of your body and not used for more than three weeks.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.
