One of the most important energy suppliers of our body is glucose. Brain, muscle and fat cells cover their energy requirements. Glucose is obtained from food and is one of the carbohydrates. These are the fastest usable energy sources for the body. Carbohydrates occur in vegetable foods that either contain sugar or can be converted into sugar.
