Instructions for use

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

How should I use it?
Take the medicine with liquid (e.g., 1 glass of water).

Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 4 days without medical advice. If symptoms persist or recur, you should consult your doctor.

Overdose?
An overdose may cause, among other things, headaches, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, a drop in blood pressure, dizziness, and breathing difficulties. If you suspect an overdose, consult a doctor immediately.

Forgotten a dose?
Continue taking the medicine as usual at the next prescribed time (i.e., do not take twice the dose).

In general, pay careful attention to the dosage, especially for infants, small children, and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects or precautions.

General dosage recommendation:

at 6-hour intervals, regardless of meals

For sensitive stomachs, it is recommended to take the medicine with a meal.

Taking on an empty stomach promotes the onset of action.

Maximum dose: A dose of 3 tablets per day should not be exceeded.

Patients with impaired liver or kidney function: You may need to reduce the individual or total dose, or extend the dosing interval, in consultation with your doctor.

How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The active ingredient belongs to a group of substances that have both pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects and can reduce fever. All three effects are primarily based on the inhibition of a substance produced naturally in the body, called prostaglandin. This substance must be present as a messenger substance in order for pain to be felt, inflammatory reactions to be triggered, or body temperature to be raised.

Contraindications

What are the contraindications?

- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding
- History of gastrointestinal perforation associated with the use of certain medications (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
- Ulcers in the digestive tract, including recurrent ones
- Hematopoietic disorder
- Active bleeding, such as:
- Cerebral hemorrhage
- Crohn's disease
- Ulcerative colitis
- Severe heart failure
- Severely impaired kidney function
- Severe dehydration
- Severely impaired liver function

Which age group should be considered?
- Children and adolescents under 18 years of age: This medicine should not be used.
- Elderly patients: Treatment should be carefully coordinated with your doctor and monitored, e.g., through close monitoring. The desired effects and undesirable side effects of the medicine may be increased or reduced in this group.

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?

What should you be aware of?
- Reaction time may be impaired even when used as directed, especially at higher doses or in combination with alcohol. Be especially careful if you are driving or operating machinery (including household machinery) that could cause injury.
