Since the Basal Digital from Geratherm is unfortunately not available at the moment, I switched to this product and used it for about a year, maybe a little less. It's good that it comes with more accessories, a small (yellow) zippered bag with a data sheet, etc. Compared to the Geratherm thermometer, it has fewer memory locations (1 vs. 10) and the on/off button is attached like this that it can break off relatively easily, which unfortunately has now happened. Gluing helps, but is not a permanent solution for me. Otherwise, the handling is very similar to the Gerathem.
