Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B combines the unique sorbact®principle with flexible exudate management. It binds germs according to the principle of hydrophobic interaction and does not require the use of chemical antimicrobial substances: The special Sorbact®coating gives the product strong hydrophobic (water -repellent) properties. Many pathogenic bacteria and fungi are naturally hydrophobic and therefore bind to the Sorbact®tissue. With every change of association, the number of germ in the wound is reduced and optimal conditions for the natural wound healing process are created.
With the hydrogel matrix of Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B, the wound milieu is also kept moist and the autolytic débridement in fibrine and necrotic wounds is encouraged.
