Cutimed® Hydro is a range of sterile, latex-free, self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressings designed to create and maintain a moist wound environment to promote healing. Hydrocolloids absorb the exudate and form a stable gel that adapts to the wound. The vertical absorption of the exudate keeps the wound edges dry and reduces the risk of maceration. Sealing the wound minimizes the risk of bacterial colonization. Cutimed® Hydro is waterproof, has an optimal hold and can be removed in one piece.
The thin Cutimed® Hydro L consists of a wound contact layer made of hydrocolloids with a top side made of a semi-permeable polyurethane film.

Cutimed® Hydro L is suitable for dry to slightly exuding wounds, e.g. e.g.:
- Lacerations
- slight abrasions
- 1St and 2nd degree burns
- Lacerations or lacerations
- as postoperative protection of closed surgical wounds
Hydrocolloid dressings are also useful as semi-occlusive secondary dressings.
Dressing change: depending on the wound condition (e.g. amount of exudate)
